I First Launched My Hair Accessories Label Missy When I Realized I Was Continually And Obsessively Scouting For Fun Hair Accessories With Which I Could Style My Girls Sanaya And Kimaya In A Jiffy, With Minimal Effort. It Also Gave Me A Chance To Showcase The Work Of The Talented Artisans Of My Home Country And Gave Me A Window To Honor Centuries Of Indian Embellishment Traditions, Something That Has Been My Continuous Source Of Inspiration.

I Designed Missy’s Exclusive Line Of Headbands At My Home Studio In Tampa, Florida, And Then Had It Handcrafted By My Fine Team Of Artisans In India. Missy Succeeded And Took Off In A Way I Never Imagined. But There Is So Much That India Has To Offer In Terms Of Its Rich Repertoire Of Handicraft. And I Was Raring To Do More.
